Membership steps and requirements:
To become a TCCC member you must own a functioning motor boat and review and follow all club rules and bylaws.
To get started:
1) Attend a General Meeting and review club rules and bylaws- Attending a general meeting is the first step to becoming a TCCC member. Meetings are held at the club on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 PM. If a scheduled meeting falls on a holiday, it is rescheduled for the following Monday. All pertinent club activity is shared during the meeting including announcements of cruises, work days and fundraisers. Please review all club rules and bylaws on the TCCC website (Club membership/Important member documents) prior to attending a meeting.
2) Submit a membership application with application fee and pass a background check- After attending a general meeting complete and submit an application with application fee. Applications can be downloaded from our website (below) and can be submitted online, by mail or at a general meeting. The $150 application fee can also be accepted during the general meeting, paid online or by mail. After your application has been submitted a background check will be completed. Application fees should only be submitted after attending a General Meeting.
3) Attend a scheduled work day- Club work days are scheduled the second Saturday of each month and begin between 8 and 9 AM. Typical work days include cleaning the grounds and boat ramp, light yard work and minor repairs.
4) Attend a scheduled cruise- Club cruises are scheduled at various times on the third Saturday of each month. Most cruises leave from the club. Cruise details will be discussed at the general meeting prior to the cruise.
5) Attend a second general meeting- During the second general meeting your membership will be voted on by the members of the club. Club fees are collected at the second meeting following the vote and club keys will be provided.
Dues and Fees: Application Fee $150.00, Membership Dues- $360.00 per year plus tax
